Cardinal Time

Cardinal Time  8 is a character education course that allows us the opportunity to teach students themes such as respect, readiness, responsibility, trustworthiness, and citizenship. Each class contains 51 minute lessons pertaining to how the students should conduct themselves in school as well as provide a wide variety of activities related to the theme of the month. Each month there is a theme where lessons are designed to reinforce those character building topics. There are some community service activities and monthly projects that will engage the students concerning topics such as collecting and sorting coupons for our military personnel. Students also will be working on college and career readiness skills. The Guidance staff will assist introdudce students to Naviance. The Naviance program is a college and career readiness platform that helps connect academic achievement to post- secondary goals.
