What is a library database? A library database is an online resource that the library subscribes to that contains articles and information from print sources such as magazines, newspapers, encyclopedias, and other reference books. Even though you get to the library databases through the internet, they are not the same thing as the internet. Most items in a library database are reprinted information from original sources and most of the things you find in our database cannot be found by searching Google or Wikipedia. Library databases are subscription services that LTPS and the State of NJ pay for to help you become a better researcher.
